Dumb Deaths I Have Died

Sure, I have died dozens and dozens of time during my career in WoW but a few of these really stand out.  One of the early ones was running myself into the Stormwind moat and finding the walls too steep to climb out. Then there was the time I suicided myself under the wheels of The Deeprun Tram.  Finally had to get one of the Blizzard Helper Dudes to get me out of that one.  The time i was fooled by the baby bear cub playing in front of the cave in the hills above Auberdine. Mama Mia!  And those elevators in Undercity!   Am I the only one for which they are an optical illusion?  I have killed myself at least 3 times on them.  Splatted on some floor or else landed in the Undercity sewers.  Yuk!  The times I died and died and died off the coast of Shadowprey Village trying to find an item that turned out not to be there.  You’d think I would learn after the first half dozen times.  Not moi.  But the coup de grace was the time I died at the top of the ladder looking into Edward Van Cleef’s face.  Some sailor came out of nowhere and did me in.  It was fortunate for me that I was with my son, the Druid.  He promptly rezzed me, gave me a thorough scolding for getting myself killed and made me go stand in a corner.  I must say, I am bemused, amused, sometime confused but never refuse to learn from this parent child role reversal.

Note to those who have been kind enough to leave comments:  I’m still on the steep side of the learning curve with this blog thing as well as with my digital camera and cell phone ~ never did get the GPS mastered so gave it to the Druid.  I do appreciate the comments and may start responding in my blog if I don’t get the response thing wired pretty soon.
